RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS JUNE 26, 2017 FOR A REQUEST BY KWIK TRIP, INC
FOR A MAJOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT IN THE "M-2,P"
PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO ALLOW FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A BIODIESEL BLENDING FACILITY,
LOCATED DIRECTLY WEST OF 2010 WEST RIDGEWAY
AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
PERTINENT NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th day of June, 2017, for the
purpose of considering the request by Kwik Trip, Inc., for a site plan amendment to the "M-2,P"
Planned Industrial District to allow for the construction of a biodiesel blending facility, located
directly west of 2010 West Ridgeway Avenue, legally described as follows:
THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER SECTION
32 TOWNSHIP 89 RANGE 13 EXCEPT THE EAST 330 FEET ALSO EXCEPT
THAT PART PLATTED AS BROCK ADDITION LOT 1 2004-033271, CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
