I am pleased to inform you that the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) intends to award Waterloo a grant in an amount not to exceed $904,000. This award is from the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, allocation 3, (NSP3) for activities outlined in your application. Your award may be subject to further evaluation and modification of activities to ensure program eligibility and compliance. You may look forward to receiving contract documents for your review and signing in the near future. Your contract with respect to this award (the "Contract") will have a start date of May 18, 2011 pending successful contract negotiation and complete execution. You may incur costs for general administration and for the environmental review process. However, you may not expend project funds (local or NSP) until the State has approved your Request for Release of Funds (RROF) and has actually released funds for your activity.
