Description: 7-1 Standpipe Connections TOTAL ADDITIONS $29,500.00 $29,500.00 Reason for Change Order. 6-1 The Waterloo Fire Department requested the additional standpipe hydrant connections after completion of design and bidding for the project. The proposed connection will include 2 connections at the lower level of the large retaining wall with pipe connections to the upper level where two 2 -way brass fire outlets will be constructed in the planter beds. Other than the dollar amount and time allowance listed above, there shall be no fluffier time or dollar compensation as a result of this Change Order. Submitted by: Jamie Knutson, P.E., Associate Engineer Recommended City Council Action: Staff has reviewed this Change Order and recommends that the Mayor be authorized to sign it on behalf of the City. Summary Statement Change Order No. 7 is for the increased amount of $29,500.00. This change order is for additional standpipe connections. Expenditure Required Source of Funds Solid Waste Distributions Policy Issue N/A Alternative N/A Background Information The Waterloo Fire Depaituient requested the additional standpipe hydrant connections after completion of design and bidding for the project. The proposed connection will include two connections at the lower level of the large retaining wall with pipe connections to the upper level where two, 2 -way brass fire outlets will be constructed in the planter beds.
