In accordance with the agreement dated February 1, 2010 between the following parties:
CLIENT: The City of Waterloo, Iowa
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT: Craig Ritland Landscape Architects (CRLA)
for the following PROJECT: DOWNTOWN WATERLOO WAYFINDING SIGNAGE
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
Authorization is requested to proceed with the following additional services:
Since additional services have been requested beyond our original proposal, as per the terms of our
contract, we are notifying you of the increase in project scope and additional services required by this
change. Our current contract includes construction documents for Downtown Waterloo Wayfinding
exhibits but did not include construction documents for DOT Guide Signage production. We are
proposing the following additional services as per the terms of our existing contract:
1. DOT Guide Signage — The City of Waterloo has requested that we include DOT Guide Signs (not
previously in the contract) to be included in the construction documents along with the Downtown
Wayfinding Signage. Work includes coordination of signage requirements with the Iowa DOT and
provision of signage layouts and details for the guide signs. The signs will be produced by the
signage contractor and provided to the City for installation by the Iowa DOT.
Based upon the above expanded scope of work and services anticipated, Craig Ritland Landscape
Architects will provide the services described above, and in accordance with the conditions outlined in
our contract, for a sum not to exceed $8,900.
