Amendment for Additional Services
We are submitting this amendment for additional services for the project to make provisions for the energy
recovery unit to be installed in the future. This was discussed during design and authorized to proceed. We
propose our fee be increased by $4,500 to cover the design and documentation to provide the design for
the unit and ductwork. This design work has been completed and was bid with the project. The majority of
the fee will go to Modus for their design work.
I have attached an amendment to the contract. Please print two copies, sign and return one copy to our
office. We appreciate the opportunity to provide these services for the City and Young Arena.

For the Owner/Architect Agreement dated 4/12/2010, between the Owner, City of Waterloo, and INVISION Architecture,
providing for professional services for the Young Arena Expansion — Phase 1.
A. Scope Change: Design an energy recovery system for future installation, including an energy recovery
ventilator and related ductwork for the addition, and include the necessary ductwork in the bid documents
for construction in the current project.
B. Other conditions: None.
C. All conditions of the Agreement shall apply to this Amendment unless specifically stated otherwise above.
