A - Description of change to be made or extra work to be done: 8001 – Additional Tree Clearing B – Reason for change or extra work: 8001 – The City of Waterloo is being required by the Corps of Engineers to complete Targe quantities of tree clearing along the toes of the Cedar River flood protection levees. Because some of these trees are in the area adjacent to this IDOT project, the contractor was asked to give a price for the removal and disposal of these trees. These trees are located in an inaccessible area located between the Cedar River flood protection levee and the proposed trail, and consist mostly of large cottonwood trees and silver maples between 24" and 60" in diameter. No additional working days will be added to contract for this work.
