RESOLUTION NO. 2015-244 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, APPROVING THE REQUEST OF ROBSON HOME, INC TO APPROVE THE 7- LOT FINAL PLAT AND NECESSARY DOCUMENTS OF PRAIRIE MEADOW ESTATES IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. WHEREAS, on this 6th day of April, 2015, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, the 7- lot Final Plat of Prairie Meadow Estates, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, generally located east of Mourning Dove Drive and contract, petition and waiver, Zoned "R-3, R-P" planned multiple residence district was presented for approval, and WHEREAS, said Final Plat has been previously submitted to and has been approved by the Waterloo City Planning, Programming and Zoning Commission, and WHEREAS, said Final Plat has been considered and should receive approval of this Council . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the 7-lot Final Plat of Prairie Meadow Estates, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, contract, petition, and waiver, be and it is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby authorized and directed to certify and affix their signatures to said resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 2015-243 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 619 FRANKLIN STREET IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA, FOR $300, 000 . 00, PLUS $100, 000 . 00 FOR BUILDING IMPROVEMENT INCENTIVE COSTS AND RELOCATION EXPENSES, AND $2, 000 . 00 IN CLOSING COSTS . WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has negotiated the fair market value, and BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated April 6, 2015, for the acquisition of 619 Franklin Street in the amount of $300, 000 . 00, plus $100, 000 . 00 for building improvement incentive costs and relocation expenses, and $2, 000 . 00 in closing costs and legally described as follows : Lot No. 5; the Southwesterly 20 feet of the Southeasterly 90 feet, and the Southwesterly 10 feet of the Northwesterly 60 feet of Lot No. 4; and the Southeasterly 55 feet of the Northwesterly 65 feet of Lots Nos . 8 and 9, all in Block No. 60 in the Cooley Addition to Waterloo, Iowa; by and between Becker-Chapman Post No. 138 of the American Legion and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
