RESOLUTION NO. 2015-231
RESOLUTION APPROVING ORDER ASSESSING PENALTY
OF FIRST VIOLATION AND ORDER ACCEPTING
ACKNOWLEDGMENT/SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT - FIRST
VIOLATION FOR SAVE MORE FOODS, 1975 FRANKLIN
STREET, AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
ORDER BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Order Assessing Penalty of First Violation and Order
Accepting Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement - First Violation
dated April 6, 2015, in the amount of $300 . 00, in conjunction
with First Violation of Iowa Code 453A. 2 (1) selling, giving, or
otherwise supplying any tobacco, tobacco products or cigarettes
to any person under eighteen years of age for Save More Foods,
1975 Franklin Street, Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day f April, 2015 .

RESOLUTION NO. 2015-232
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO CAREN SEE
FOR A WAIVER FOR A CONCRETE DRIVEWAY TO BE
LOCATED AT 314 BREES STREET, AND AUTHORIZING
CONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE DRIVEWAY AND
PLACING A DRIVEWAY OR SIDEWALK ON CITY RIGHT-
OF-WAY ON AN UNIMPROVED STREET .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made written application to
the City Council asking that Caren See be authorized and
permitted to construct a concrete driveway and place a driveway
or sidewalk on city right-of-way on an unimproved street to be
located at 314 Brees Street, and legally described as follows :
Christie Addition Lot 21 Block 3, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is
hereby granted to Caren See to construct a concrete driveway and
place a driveway or sidewalk on city right-of-way on an
unimproved street to be located at 314 Brees Street, subject to
the following conditions :
1 . Work to be performed by an approved and bonded
contractor.
2 . A permit is to be obtained from the office of the City
Engineer prior to construction.
3 . All work shall be performed under the supervision of
the City Engineer and at no cost to the City of
Waterloo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk
County Auditor for filing in order that this said action may
become a matter of official County Record.
