RESOLUTION NO. 2015-225
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO OPTION
EXCHANGE AGREEMENT WITH L AND H FARMS, LTD.
FOR THE ADDITION OF 31 . 54 ACRES WITH AN
ADDITION OF 3 YEARS TO LENGTH OF THE
AGREEMENT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
DOCUMENTS BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Option Exchange Agreement dated March 8, 2010, is
amended to extend the length of the agreement by 3 years and to
add an additional 31 . 54 acres legally described as follows :
That part of the East One-Half of the Northwest Quarter
of Section No. 9, Township No. 88 North, Range No. 13
West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in Black Hawk
County, Iowa, lying Southerly of Highway U. S. No. 520
as described in 539 LD 996, except that part conveyed
to the State of Iowa in Doc. #2006-18278 .
by and between L and H Farms, Ltd. of Waterloo, Iowa and the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the
Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of March, 2015.
