RESOLUTION NO. 2017-511
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO PLUMB
TECH, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $19,556.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE REPLACEMENT
OF TWO (2) ROOF MOUNTED AIR CONDITIONING UNITS FOR
THE GENERAL AVIATION TERMINAL BUILDING AT THE
WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, AND AUTHORIZE THE
AIRPORT DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Plumb Tech, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$19,556, along with contract, bond, and certificate of insurance, and is the apparent low bidder in
conjunction with replacement of two (2) roof mounted air conditioning units project for the
General Aviation Terminal Building at the Waterloo Regional Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Plumb Tech, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa in the amount of
$19,556.00, is hereby awarded, and the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance in conjunction
with the replacement of two (2) roof mounted air conditioning units for the General Aviation
Terminal Building at the Waterloo Regional Airport, described in the specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-448, after public hearing on
June 12, 2017, on published notice required by law are hereby approved and the Airport Director
is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
