RESOLUTION NO. 2017-517
RESOLUTION RE-SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS JULY 24, 2017 REGARDING THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY, GENERALLY
LOCATED ADJACENT TO 157 UNIVERSITY AVENUE, TO
JASON GRIMM IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000 AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2017-498, ORIGINALLY
APPROVED ON JUNE 26, 2017, AND AUTHORIZE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th day of July 2017, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon the sale and conveyance of city owned property,
generally located adjacent to 157 University Avenue, to Jason Grimm in the amount of$2,000,
and legally described as follows:
LOT 3, BLOCK 2, "LELAND PARK" IN WATERLOO, IOWA, EXCEPT
THE EAST 20 FEET IN EVEN WIDTH OF THE SOUTH 30 FEET IN EVEN
WIDTH THEREOF; AND FURTHER EXCEPT THE NORTHERLY 4.0
FEET OF SAID LOT 2. PARCEL NO. 8913-26-129-025).
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2017-498, is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of July 2017.
