RESOLUTION NO. 2017-518
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS
AUGUST 3, 2017 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 7,
2017 FOR OSAGE ROAD AND DUBUQUE ROAD TRAFFIC SAFETY
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the Osage Road and Dubuque Road Traffic Safety Improvements Project are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the Osage Road and Dubuque Road
Traffic Safety Improvements Project be scheduled for August 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of August 2017, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the Osage Road and Dubuque Road Traffic Safety
Improvements Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
