RESOLUTION NO. 2017-519
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY 20, 2017 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS JULY 24, 2017 FOR ASPHALT EMULSIONS FOR THE
CITY'S RECYCLED ASPHALT PAVING PROGRAM, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Sectionl. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt Paving Program are approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the Asphalt Emulsions for the City's
Recycled Asphalt Paving Program be scheduled for July 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th day of July 2017,to hold
a public hearing in conjunction with the Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Recycled Asphalt
Paving Program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
