RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF BCS
PROPERTIES, LLC OF WATERLOO, IOWA TO REZONE
APPROXIMATELY 0 . 63 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED WEST
OF 1850 WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE FROM "'A-1"
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "C-2" COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, AS MARCH 30, 2015, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN
HAROLD E. GETTY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL,
WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 30th day of March,
2015, for the purpose of considering and acting upon an
application of BCS Properties, LLC of Waterloo, Iowa to rezone
approximately 0 . 63 acres of land from "A-1" Agricultural District
to "C-2" Commercial District, to allow for the construction of a
new multi-use commercial building on the property, and legally
described as follows:
That part of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1-4) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW �4) of Section Thirty-three (33) ,
Township Eighty-nine North (T89N) , Range Thirteen West
(R13W) of the 5th Principal Meridian, Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
The South Two Hundred Seventy-five (275 .00) feet of the
East One Hundred (100 . 00) feet of Parcel "J",
Miscellaneous Book 332, Page 723 in the Black Hawk
County Recorder' s Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
