RESOLUTION NO. 2014-190
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF JAMESON' S
PUBLIC HOUSE, 310 EAST 4TH STREET, FOR
VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
3094 .
WHEREAS, Jameson' s Public House, 310 East 4th Street, is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on March 17, 2015
from 6: 00 a.m. to 12 : 00 midnight in conjunction with St. Patrick' s
Day events, with the closure of the 300 block of East 4th Street,
including bagpipers, drums and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Jameson' s Public House has made formal
application for a variance effective March 17, 2015 from 6: 00 a.m.
to 12 : 00 midnight, together with recommendation of approval of the
Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jameson' s Public House, 310
East 4th Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, on March 17, 2015 from 6: 00 a.m. to 12 : 00 midnight in
conjunction with St. Patrick' s Day events, with the closure of the
300 block of East 4th Street, including bagpipers, drums and the
use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of March, 2015 .
