RESOLUTION NO. 2017-544
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID
OPENING AS JULY 27, 2017 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
AUGUST 7, 2017, FOR THE RECYCLING PROCESSING FACILITY
TO SUPPORT THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S CURBSIDE RECYCLING
PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the recycling processing facility to support the City of Waterloo's Curbside Recycling Program,
be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to
support the City of Waterloo's Curbside Recycling Program, be scheduled for July 27, 2017 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of August 2017, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to support the City of
Waterloo's Curbside Recycling Program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
