RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF GRACE REFORMED
CHURCH FOR A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE ORDINANCE ON
SUNDAY, AUGUST 20, 2017 FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. FOR
THE "SUNDAY IN THE PARK" EVENT TO BE HELD AT
GALLOWAY PARK, LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF MAXWELL &
STRATFORD STREETS.
WHEREAS, said Grace Reformed Church is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the "Sunday in the Park"
event to be held at Galloway Park, located at the corner of Maxwell & Stratford Streets, together
with recommendation and approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO IOWA that the request of Grace Reformed
Church for a variance to the e Noise
Ordinance on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the "Sunday in the Park"
event to be held at Galloway Park, located at the corner of Maxwell & Stratford Streets, be
anted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July 2017.
