RESOLUTION NO. 2017-563
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTS, BONDS AND
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE WITH PELLA ROOFING AND
INSULATION, INC. OF VINTON, IOWA, FOR IMPROVEMENTS
ASSOCIATED WITH HANGAR NO. 5 AT WATERLOO REGIONAL
AIRPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $65,995.00, AND AUTHORIZE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Pella Roofing and Insulation, Inc. of Vinton, Iowa submitted a bid in the
amount of$65,995.00, along with contract bond and certificate of insurance, in conjunction with
the improvements associated with Hangar No. 5 at the Waterloo Regional Airport, and is the
apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the contract bond and certificate of insurance for the improvements
associated with Hangar No. 5 at the Waterloo Regional Airport, described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project by Resolution No. 2017-446, after public
hearing on June 12, 2017, on published notice required by law are hereby awarded and approved,
and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June 2017.
