RESOLUTION NO. 2017-564
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTS, BONDS AND
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE WITH PLUMB TECH, INC. OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH
THE HVAC SYSTEM FOR THE GENERAL AVIATION TERMINAL
BUILDING AT WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $19,556.00, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Plumb Tech, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$19,556.00, along with contract bond and certificate of insurance in conjunction with the HVAC
system for the General Aviation Terminal Building at Waterloo Regional Airport, and is the
apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the contract bond and certificate of insurance for the improvements
associated with the HVAC system for the General Aviation Terminal Building at Waterloo
Regional Airport, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project by Resolution No. 2017-448, after public hearing on June 12, 2017, on published notice
required by law are hereby awarded and approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June 2017.
