Recommended City Council Action:
Approve an application with Iowa Department of Natural Resources for a dock system to be
located in the Cedar River.
Summary Statement
The docks will be located just upstream from the Park Avenue Bridge on the north bank of the
river and will connect to the Riverfront Trail.

Background Information
The Waterloo Development Corporation is funding the purchase and installation of the docks
with Gaming Funds to continue the enhancement of the Cedar River Water Front in Waterloo.
