RESOLUTION NO. 2017-555
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO DEPENDABLE DRAIN & PLUMBING/DEPENDABLE
MAINTENANCE SYSTEMS, OF CLINTON, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT
OF $30,660.00, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS, AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE FY 2018 MANHOLE
INSPECTION - SERVICE AREAS 10, 11, 12, 13, CONTRACT NO. 935,
AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Dependable Drain & Plumbing/Dependable Maintenance Systems, of
Clinton, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of $30,660.00, in conjunction with the FY 2018
Manhole Inspection-Service Areas 10, 11, 12, 13, Contract No. 935, and is the apparent low
bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Dependable Drain & Plumbing/Dependable Maintenance
Systems, of Clinton, Iowa, in the amount of$30,660.00, and the contract, bonds, and certificate
of insurance in conjunction with the FY 2018 Manhole Inspection-Service Areas 10, 11, 12, 13,
Contract No. 935, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2017-553, after public hearing on July 17, 2017, on published notice
required by law, are hereby awarded and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized
and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo,Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July 2017.
