RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF A GRANT
APPLICATION FOR A FY 2017 HISTORIC PRESERVATION
FUND - UNDERREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES
GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $50,000, TO PERFORM A NATIONAL
REGISTER SURVEY OF THE TRIANGLE DISTRICT AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the grant application dated July 24, 2017, to the National Park Service for a FY 2017
Historic Preservation Fund - Underrepresented Communities Grant in the amount of$50,000 to
perform a National Register Survey of the Triangle District, is hereby approved and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute all necessary documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July 2017.
