RESOLUTION NO. 2017-595
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF A MORATORIUM
FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) MONTHS, ENDING ON OCTOBER
31, 2017, ON THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL PERMIT OR LICENSE
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ANY NEW RECYCLING, JUNK, OR
SALVAGE YARDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Moratorium extension for a period three (3)months ending on October 31, 2017, on the
issuance of a Special Permit or License for the establishment of any new recycling,junk or
salvage yards, to allow additional time to complete the proposed amendment, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July 2017.
