RESOLUTION APPROVING ACCEPTANCE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT NO. 3-19-0094-045-
2017 IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,655,686 FOR THE PAVEMENT
RECONSTRUCTION OF TAXIWAY CHARLIE, PAVEMENT
JOINT SEAL REPAIR AND CRACK-SEAL MAINTENANCE ON
RUNWAY 12/30, AND AIRFIELD PAINTING IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECTS AT THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR, CITY ATTORNEY, AND AIRPORT
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration
Grant No. 3-19-0094-045-2017 in the amount of$2,655,686, for the Pavement Reconstruction of
Taxiway Charlie, Pavement Joint Seal Repair and Crack-Seal Maintenance on Runway 12/30,
and Airfield Painting Improvements projects at the Waterloo Regional Airport, is hereby
accepted, and authorize the Mayor, City Attorney, and Airport Director to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July 2017.
