RESOLUTION NO. 2017-600
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION OF PROPERTY
FROM WELLS FARGO TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY
GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS 418 LANE STREET, WITH A
$15,000 SELLER CONCESSION /CASH CONTRIBUTION TO
ASSIST WITH ASBESTOS REMOVAL AND DEMOLITION
COSTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo Community Development has received a donation of
property, from Wells Fargo, including $15,000 in financial contributions to assist in the asbestos
removal and demolition expenses, and
WHEREAS, the property is generally described as 418 Lane Street, and legally described
as follows:
BALLIETT AND GILBERTS SUB WLOO ALL LOT 3 EXC E 10 FT, IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO,BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the donation from Wells Fargo of property � Y generally described as 418
Lane Street and $15,000 to assist in asbestos removal and demolition, accepted, and the Mayor
and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute any necessary documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July 2017.
