RESOLUTION NO. 2012-54
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED
BY VOLTMER INC. OF DECORAH, IOWA, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE RIDGEWAY AVENUE AND
SERGEANT ROAD (US 63) TRAFFIC SAFETY
IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 760, ACCEPTING THE
WORK, AND RELEASING THE $6,740.11 RETAINAGE.
WHEREAS, Voltmer Inc. of Decorah, Iowa, has under contract
with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, furnished certain materials and
performed labor at a total cost of $324,670.34 in conjunction
with the Ridgeway Avenue and Sergeant Road. (US 63) Traffic Safety
Improvements, Contract No. 760, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of
Acceptance be and the same hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the retainage of $6,740.11 for the project
be hereby released.
