Notice was published in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls
Courier, a daily newspaper printed in Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, once commencing on the 11th
day of August, 2017 in the name of said newspaper,
and that the annexed rate of advertised is the regular
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING legal rate of said newspaper, and that the following is

RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,Iowa,at
her office in the City Hall,715 Mulberry
Street,of the said City on the 17th day of
August, 2017 until 1:00 pm for Solid
waste and recycling containers to support
the City of Waterloo's recyc 'and
various clean-up programs,as desclingribed
in detail in the specifications now on file in
the Public Works Office.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall,in the City of Waterloo,Iowa,on the
17th day of August 2017, at 1:00pm
(Central Time)and the proposals will be
acted upon at such later time and place
as may then be fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the ptoposed specifications and estimate
of cost for the Solid waste and recycling
containers to support the City of Signed
Waterloo's recycling and various clean-up
programs,at 5:30pm on August 21,2017,
said hearing to be held in the Harold E
Getty Council Chambers in City Hall in
said City. The proposed specifications
and estimate of cost for said product Subscribed and sworn to before me this
heretofore prepared by the Interim Public
Works Director of the City of Waterloo are
now on file in the Public Works office for
public examination, and any person y

tion thereto with the City Clerk before the
date set for said hearing,or appear and
