Hawk County, Iowa, once commencing on the 11 th
day of August, 2017 in the name of said newspaper,
and that the annexed rate of advertised is the regular
legal rate of said newspaper, and that the following is

RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,Iowa,at
her office in the City Hall,715 Mulberry
Street,of the said City on the 17th day of
August, 2017 until 1:00 pm for the
Recycling processing facility to support
the City of Waterloos curbside recycling
program, as described in detail in the
specifications now on file in the Public
Works Office.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall,in the City of Waterloo,Iowa,on the
17th day of August 2017, at 1:00pm
(Central Time)and the proposals will be
acted upon at such later time and place
as may then be fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public d hearing on

the proposed specifications and estimate
of cost for the Recycling processing

facility to support the City of Waterloo's
curbside recycling program,at 5:30pm on Signed
August 21,2017,said hearing to be held
in the Harold E Getty Council Chambers
in Cit Hall in said City. The proposed
specifications and estimate of cost for
said product heretofore prepared by the
Interim Public Works Director of the City Subscribed and sworn to before me this
of Waterloo are now on file in the Public
Works office for public examination,and
any person interested therein may file
written objection thereto with the City
