Members present: Jones, Morrissey, Schmitt
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Morrissey that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Morrissey, seconded by Schmitt to authorize to proceed with the Waterloo Center for
the Arts Restroom Renovation/Expansion Project. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Mr. Schmitt questioned how the cost of the engineer is calculated.
Craig Clark, Building Official, explained that it is typically ten percent of the project cost. The
entire project may run $300,000. These are the two main restrooms between the theatre and the
Schoitz room.
Mr. Jones questioned if there is more than just the restroom, such as the heat pump.
Craig Clark explained that the heat will be moved to the ceiling.
With no further business before the Council, it was moved by Schmitt, seconded by Morrissey
that the meeting be adjourned at 4:48 p.m. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
