Members present: Jones, Schmitt. Absent: Morrissey,
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Two.
Motion carried.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones to authorize request for authorization to construct a 10' x
12' building for the City of Waterloo fueling site. Ayes: Two. Motion carried.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones to authorize request by Jeff Walters to purchase a 30' x
32' metal pole building located at 4012 Leversee Road for $500 with a Development Agreement.
Ayes: Two. Motion carried.
Chris Western, Planner II, explained that it is a building built in 2008 and the lot needed to be
cleared. There was not a formal bid process but it was an alternate on the demo.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones to authorize request by Properties LC to purchase a vacant
lot generally located at 520 Locust Street for $500 with a Development Agreement. Ayes: Two.
Motion carried.
Chris Western, Planner II, explained that the applicant owns the house next door and it will be
green space. The lot is 27 feet wide by 70 feet deep and costs $27 per time it is mowed and snow
is also removed. The assessed value is $3,530.00. It is not a buildable lot.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones to amend the motion to remove the necessity of a
development agreement. Ayes: Two. Motion Carried.
With no further business before the Council, it was moved by Schmitt, seconded by Jones that
the meeting be adjourned at 5:00 p.m. Ayes: Two. Motion carried.
