RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 24, 2017
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 28, 2017 FOR
THE FY 2018 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM
- ZONE 7, CONTRACT NO. 931, AND INSTRUCT CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program - Zone 7, Contract No. 931,
be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair Assessment
Program - Zone 7, Contract No. 931, be scheduled for August 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of August 2017, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the FY 2018 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program -
Zone 7, Contract No. 931.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
