RESOLUTION NO. 2017-614
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 17, 2017
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 21, 2017 FOR
THE RECYCLING PROCESSING FACILITY TO SUPPORT
THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S CURBSIDE RECYCLING
PROGRAM, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the recycling processing facility to support the City of Waterloo's curbside
recycling program,be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to
support the City of Waterloo's curbside recycling program, be scheduled for August 17, 2017 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 21St day of August 2017, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the recycling processing facility to support the City of
Waterloo's curbside recycling program.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August 2017.
