RESOLUTION NO. 2017-615
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 17, 2017
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 21, 2017 FOR
SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING CONTAINERS TO
SUPPORT THE CITY OF WATERLOO'S RECYCLING AND
VARIOUS CLEAN-UP PROGRAMS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the solid waste and recycling containers to support the City of Waterloo's
recycling and various clean-up programs, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction solid waste and recycling containers to
support the City of Waterloo's recycling and various clean-up programs, be scheduled for August
17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 21St day of August 2017, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the solid waste and recycling containers to support the
City of Waterloo's recycling and various clean-up programs.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
