RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
AUGUST 21, 2017 TO VACATE, SELL, AND CONVEY A
PORTION OF AN ALLEY GENERALLY LOCATED
NORTHWESTERLY OF EAST 2ND STREET BETWEEN
FRANKLIN STREET AND WALNUT STREET, TO CENTRAL
PROPERTY HOLDINGS, LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $1.00,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 21St day of August 2017, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Central Property Holdings, LLC to
vacate, sell, and convey a portion of an alley generally located northwesterly of East 2nd Street
between Franklin Street and Walnut Street, Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of$1.00.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
