RESOLUTION NO. 2017-650
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 31, 2017
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 5, 2017,
FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) FORD F250 CREW CAB
TRUCK FOR WATERLOO FIRE RESCUE, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) Ford F250 Crew Cab truck for Waterloo Fire Rescue, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) Ford F250
Crew Cab truck for Waterloo Fire Rescue, be scheduled for August 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City
Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on September 5, 2017, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) Ford F250 Crew Cab truck for
Waterloo Fire Rescue.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
