RESOLUTION NO. 2017-672
REQUEST OF KOINONIA MINISTRIES FULL GOSPEL
BAPTIST CHURCH FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ON AUGUST 27, 2017 FROM 10:00 A.M. TO
5:00 P.M. IN CONJUNCTION WITH A CHURCH PICNIC, TO
BE HELD IN THE 200 BLOCK OF FALLS AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Koinonia Ministries Full Gospel Baptist Church is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on August 27, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with a
churchicnic, to be held in the 200 block of Falls Avenue, together with the recommendation

and approval of the Captain of Police Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Koinonia Ministries Full Gospel Baptist Church, for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 27, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a church picnic to be held in the 200 block of Falls Avenue, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21"day of August 2017.
