RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATION FOR A FY 2017 CERTIFIED LOCAL
GOVERNMENT GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL PARK
SERVICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000, TO PERFORM A
NATIONAL REGISTER SURVEY OF THE TRIANGLE
DISTRICT, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the National Park Service Grant Application dated August 21, 2017, in the amount of
$10,000, for a FY 2017 Certified Local Government Grant to perform a National Register survey
of the Triangle District, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute all necessary documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of August 2017.
