RESOLUTION NO. 2017-693
REQUEST OF EAST HIGH SCHOOL TO HOLD THEIR ANNUAL
HOMECOMING PARADE ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 FROM 2:00
P.M. TO 3:00 P.M., BEGINNING AND ENDING AT EAST HIGH,
TRAVELING ON WALNUT AND 4TH STREETS.
WHEREAS, East High School has requested that they be allowed to hold their annual
Homecoming Parade on September 1, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the parade
traveling on Walnut and E. 4th Streets, together with the approval of the Director of Safety
Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 2:00 p.m., with the route commencing and ending at
East High School.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of East High School to hold their annual Homecoming
Parade on September 1, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. commencing and ending at East High
School, along with intersection control and street closures, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of September 2017.
