RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
PERFORMED BY JASPER CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC.
IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF 286 638.91
OF NEWTON, O $ ,
FOR THE FY 2017 BRIDGE REPAIRS - 6TH STREET 18TH
STREET, AND ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, CONTRACT NO.
916, AND RECEIVE AND FILE TWO (2) YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Jasper Construction Services, Inc. of Newton, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Bridge Repairs - 6th Street, 18th Street, and Ansborough Avenue,
Contract No. 916, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Jasper Construction Services, Inc. has completed the aforementioned project
in accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$286,638.91.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work performed by Jasper Construction Services, Inc., in the amount of $286,638.91, in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Bridge Repairs - 6th Street, 18th Street, and Ansborough Avenue,
Contract No. 916, are hereby approved, and the two (2) year maintenance bond is hereby
received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 281h day of August 2017.
