Members present: Chairperson Welper, Hart, Cole, Jones, Schmitt, Lind, and Morrissey
Moved by Hart, seconded by Morrissey that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Seven. Motion carried.
Moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that request from Building Official/Maintenance
Administrator for authorization to begin the recruitment process for Property Safety Inspector
and make an appointment, be approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
Mr. Jones questioned if technology will be used to make the process more cost efficient and what
the duties of the inspector will entail.
Craig Clark, Building Official/Maintenance Administrator, stated that the technology process has
been started, but will be some time next year before it is put in place. This position is strictly an
inspector.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Hart that request from Waste Management Services
Superintendent for authorization to make an appointment to Clerk I from a current Civil Service
list, be approved. Ayes: Six. Motion carried.
Mr. Lind clarified the salary of the position.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Hart, seconded by Schmitt that
the meeting be adjourned at 5:12 p.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
