AN ORDINANCE VACATING APPROXIMATELY 300' OF
CITY OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED ON EAST
SHAULIS ROAD TO THE EAST OF TEXAS STREET IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of Section 7,
Township 88 North, Range 12 West of the 5th P.M., City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; Thence North
89°59'14" East (Assumed Bearing), 422.99 feet along the
South Line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section and
along the North Right -of -Way Line of East Shaulis Road
to the Point of Beginning of Public Right -of -Way to be
Vacated; Thence continuing North 89°59'14" East, 140.84
feet along said Lines; Thence North 72°21'59" West,
148.00 feet; Thence South 00°15'29" East, 44.86 feet to
the Point of Beginning; Containing 0.073 Acre, subject
to easements of record.
Reference is hereby made to an Easement for Public
Highway granted to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
signed by Duke A. Shaulis, Avis E. Shaulis, and Lloyd
Kiefer, dated March 11, 1980, and recorded in Book 539,
Pages 298-300, on file in the Black Hawk County
Recorder's office, Waterloo, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
