RESOLUTION NO. 2015-424
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MY WATERLOO
DAYS FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, My Waterloo Days is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on June 13, 2015 from 7 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 a.m. , in
conjunction with the Family 5K Walk/Run event, including the use
of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said My Waterloo Days has made formal application
for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 13, 2015 from 7 : 00
a.m. to 10 : 00 a.m. , together with recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of My Waterloo Days for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 13, 2015 from 7 : 00 a.m.
to 10 : 00 a.m. , in conjunction with the Family 5K Walk/Run event,
including the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 2015 .
