RESOLUTION NO. 2015-433
RESOLUTION APPROVING A FARM LEASE BETWEEN DAVID
STOUT OF STOUTLAND FARMS, INC. AND THE CITY OF
WATERLOO TO FARM APPROXIMATELY 27 . 3 ACRES OF LAND
GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
DRIVE AND NEWELL STREET AT $200 PER ACRE FOR A
TOTAL YEARLY PAYMENT OF $5, 460, AND AUTHORIZE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK EXECUTE DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Farm Lease Agreement dated June 8, 2015, between
David Stout of Stoutland Farms, Inc. and the City of Waterloo to
farm approximately 27 . 3 acres of land generally located between
Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Newell Street at $200 per acre
for a total yearly payment of $5, 460, be hereby approved, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June 2015 .
