RESOLUTION NO. 2015-434
RESOLUTION APPROVING A FARM LEASE BETWEEN LEE
MILLER OF BARLEE FARMS AND THE CITY OF WATERLOO TO
FARM APPROXIMATELY 3 . 35 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY
LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF WEST SHAULIS
ROAD AND ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AT $200 PER ACRE FOR A
TOTAL YEARLY PAYMENT OF $670, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK EXECUTE DOCUMENTS .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Farm Lease Agreement dated June 8, 2015, between
Lee Miller of BarLee Farms and the City of Waterloo to farm
approximately 3 . 35 acres of land generally located at the
northwest corner of West Shaulis Road and Ansborough Avenue at
$200 per acre for a total yearly payment of $670, be hereby
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute said agreement .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June 2015 .
