RESOLUTION APPROVING A FARM LEASE BETWEEN LUKE
WESTON AND THE CITY OF WATERLOO TO FARM
APPROXIMATELY 67 . 15 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY
LOCATED NEAR THE CORNER OF INDEPENDENCE AVENUE AND
NORTHEAST DRIVE AT $253 PER ACRE FOR A TOTAL
YEARLY PAYMENT OF $16, 988 . 95, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK EXECUTE DOCUMENTS .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Farm Lease Agreement dated June 8, 2015, between
Luke Weston and the City of Waterloo to farm approximately 67 . 15
acres of land generally located near the corner of Independence
Avenue and Northeast Drive at $253 per acre for a total yearly
payment of $16, 988 . 95, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June 2015 .
