RESOLUTION NO. 2017-731
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., AND SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 21, 2017, AND
DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 25, 2017 FOR
FY 2018 WATERLOO BOATHOUSE ENHANCEMENTS
CONTRACT NO. 940, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the 2018 Waterloo Boathouse Enhancements Contract No. 940, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the 2018 Waterloo Boathouse
Enhancements Contract No. 940, be scheduled for September 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on September 25, 2017, to hold a
public hearing in conjunction with the 2018 Waterloo Boathouse Enhancements Contract No.
` 940.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
