RESOLUTION NO. 2017-737
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
CHARLES GABUS FORD, OF DES MOINES, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $45,890.50 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
FORD F250 CREW CAB TRUCK, FOR WATERLOO FIRE
RESCUE, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Charels Gabus Ford of Des Moines, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$45,890.50 and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) Ford F250
Crew Cab truck for Waterloo Fire Rescue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Charles Gabus Ford, of Des Moines, Iowa, in the amount of
$45,890.50, is hereby awarded in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) Ford F250 Crew Cab
truck for Waterloo Fire Rescue, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this
Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-735, after public hearing on September 5,
2017, on published notice required by law, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5u' day of September 2017.
