RESOLUTION NO. 2017-741
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA URETHANES, LLC OF
CALEDONIA, MINNESOTA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $42,000,
AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE NO. 6 DIGESTER
ROOF REHABILITATION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 939,
AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Southern Minnesota Urethanes, LLC of Caledonia, Minnesota submitted a
bid in the amount of $42,000, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the No. 6
Digester Roof Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 939.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Southern Minnesota Urethanes, LLC of Caledonia,
Minnesota, in the amount of$42,000, is hereby awarded, in conjunction with the No. 6 Digester
Roof Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 939, described in the specifications heretofore adopted
by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-739, after public hearing on September
5, 2017, on published notice required by law, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of September 2017.
