RESOLUTION NO. 2017-771
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
THE DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 5,
2017, SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 9, 2017, FOR DEMOLITION SERVICES AT 222
WALNUT STREET AND 216-220 COMMERCIAL STREET,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in
conjunction with demolition services at 222 Walnut Street and 216-220 Commercial Street, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with demolition services at 222 Walnut
Street and 216-220 Commercial Street, be scheduled for October 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th day of October
2017, for the purpose of considering and acting upon demolition services at 222 Walnut Street
and 216-220 Commercial Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
