RESOLUTION NO. 2017-775
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR THE MULTI FAMILY ACTIVITY 876 (GRAND
CROSSING HOUSING DEVELOPMENT).
WHEREAS, the City was awarded $3,650,000 for the Multi Family Activity 876 in one
Multi-Family Round 6 award to the Grand Crossing, a 68 unit multi family housing development
in Waterloo, and
WHEREAS, this project was in compliance with the IEDA Procurement Policy for
Disaster Recovery Housing Projects, and
WHEREAS, reviews indicated that the administration of the grant has complied with the
Midwest Flood Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery funds, and
WHEREAS, construction was completed in June of 2017.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance
for work for the Multi Family Activity 876 (Grand Crossing Housing Development), are hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18`x' day of September 2017.
